Our specialty is training young and green prospects but since we also do consignment sales there is always a variety of type, size, age and training in the sales stock.
My husband and I have over 30 years of experience in selecting, raising, and training horses from Pleasure to Low level Dressage to Beginning Show Hunters and Safe Field Hunters. Past experience in starting young TB's for the track and racing our own TB's. Carol was assistant manager at a TB breeding operation in Florida and then managed the breeding at Unicorn Valley while we were into the racehorses. We no longer stand a stallion but can still do foaling for those who don't want to stay up nights or have mares with special needs and attention.
Unicorn Valley Farm is located in a picturesque valley 40 miles north of Atlanta with about half the 170 acres in bottomland pastures along the Etowah River and the rest in forested hills with over a mile of manicured trails cut through them, including creeks to cross and mowed fields to gallop up. There are several barns with 13 stalls total, wash rack with hot water, hot walker, lunging ring, 3 acre flat riding area with a dressage arena in the middle and stadium jumps around. Another 3 acre field, flat but with enough trees for shade along the river, has cross country type jumps. We are 15 minutes drive from Dawson Forest and 20 minute drive to Bull and Jake Mountain for all day trail riding.
